Tonight was the New York City charity benefit that those in and outside of the design world look forward to all year. The fundraiser to benefit Housing Works, Design on a Dime, features over 60 of the world's best interior designers, who create fabulous room vignettes with donated new merchandise, which is then sold for 50 to 70 percent off retail pricing. Sounds amazing, right?

During tonight's DOAD Opening Night Reception, guests were given the first public look at the room vignettes and enjoyed exclusive preview shopping, cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live entertainment. I also made sure to take photos of my favorite spaces, which I've included in the slideshow below. Most importantly, this evening will raise crucial funds to continue Housing Works' housing expansion efforts throughout New York City, providing hundreds of clients a solid foundation from which to build a successful future.
